Welcome to Atithi Resort, nestled within the historic 2,900-acre Tyford Estate in Peermade. By booking accommodation, dining, or engaging in activities on our property, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms and guidelines outlined below. These policies are designed to maintain peace, guest safety, and the preservation of our natural plantation ecosystem.
Primary guests must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation. In accordance with government regulations, all adult guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) upon check-in. Non-Indian nationals are required to provide a valid Passport and Visa details.
Guests are encouraged to explore designated plantation paths, streams, and lawns. For personal safety, guided activities — including tea factory walkthroughs, Uppukulam dam reservoir visits, highland jeep safaris, and nature trails — must be coordinated with our resort staff. Guests participate in outdoor activities at their own discretion and are advised to follow all safety instructions provided by our guides.
Our kitchen prepares homestyle Kerala and North Indian cuisine fresh to order using locally sourced and organic plantation ingredients. To ensure seamless service, meal orders, customized dietary requests, barbecue setups, or campfire dinners should be informed to the hospitality team in advance.
Atithi Resort is a sanctuary for rest and natural rejuvenation. We observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Loud music, noise disturbances, and littering within tea gardens or estate water bodies are strictly prohibited. Guests are expected to treat the heritage bungalow, Victorian-era furnishings, and natural surroundings with care. Any damage or loss caused to resort property will be assessed and billed to the guest.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all heritage bedrooms and enclosed bungalow areas; designated outdoor smoking zones are available on the grounds. Moderate personal consumption of alcohol within private guest areas is permitted in compliance with local regulations. Pets may be accommodated solely upon prior written management approval.
